We would like to take a few moments to thank Bissell Pet Foundation for a generous grant to help with our Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program. This grant has helped spay and neuter over 100 TNR cats so far this year! By the end of this year, the grant is estimated to help in the cost of spay and neuter for 280 cats!
Through grants like this one, we are able to keep our TNR program alive and thriving. TNR is essential in stopping the otherwise endless cycle of community/feral cat reproduction. We are one step further towards our goal of ending pet overpopulation with each cat spayed/neutered. Out of these cats, 55 (so far) were female. When a mom cat can have an average of 12 kittens a year, approximately 660 unwanted cats/kittens were prevented for just their first year of being spayed alone.
Out of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s partner network of nearly 5,000 shelters and rescues, we’re so excited that we were chosen to receive their support! With a mission to find every pet a home, they focus their efforts on adoption, spay/neuter, microchipping and emergency support.
