As you may be aware, Amazon has a program called “Amazon Smile”.  This is an amazing program. Free! Same prices! Donations to charity!  This program enables anyone who shops on Amazon to have 0.5% of their purchases donated to the charity of their choice – and we hope that you will choose Pets Come First as your charity!  Below or at this link are some detailed instructions for anyone who would like to set up their Amazon accounts to benefit Pets Come First!

If you are using a laptop or PC, you can log into smile.amazon.com. And follow the instructions. Or keep reading on….

If you are using an iPhone, there is not an app for Amazon Smile (like the regular Amazon App), but here is the workaround to get an Amazon Smile app icon on your phone!

1.  Know your username and password!

2. Delete the Amazon app (put your finger onto the app until it jiggles and x it out)

3. Open Safari…generally on the bottom of the screen.

4. Type in smile.amazon.com

5.  Enter username/password etc.

6. You will sort of be guided to some charities. I searched for Pets Come First. Pretty simple.

Pretty much this changes your account from an Amazon account to an Amazon Smile account so that you will now be supporting Pets Come First!

Now, to get the page to appear as an app!

Again, there isn’t an Amazon Smile app yet. This will create an app icon….like the original one….but you will actually be using the webpage (which functions practically the same as the app).

You should now have an Amazon Smile icon like this
