Save the date! Santa Paws is coming to town! December 7th and 8th Santa Paws will be at Pets Come First to take pictures with your pets! This annual fundraiser will help raise money for local homeless animals as well as give the public the cutest pictures for their Christmas cards! Admission to see Santa will be a monetary donation. 100% of these donations go directly to PCF to help the animals under their care this holiday season and beyond.

Rodney Smith, a regular volunteer at PCF, will transform into Santa December 7th from 11am to 4pm and December 8th from 12:30pm to 4:30 pm to take pictures with the good pets of the public. With a bushy white beard, rosy cheeks and a full Santa suit, Rodney IS Santa. For pictures of previous Santa Paws events, check out Pets Come First’s Facebook Page. He has taken pictures with rabbits, dogs, pigs, cats and a rooster so far and is excited to see who shows up this year!

Each animal that comes to take pictures with Santa will have their own private session with Santa and Shawn Henfling of Captured Chaos Photography who is also volunteering his time and professional expertise for this event. Safety and comfort of the pets and people participating will be top priority. Participants will be asked to keep their animals warm in their cars until it is their turn with Santa, keep dogs on leashes, and keep smaller animals (cats, rodents, etc) in appropriate carriers. Pets will be escorted by his elves to a quiet room that will be decked with a Christmas tree, presents, and treats for their very own photo-shoot. Pictures to be taken first come first served, no appointment needed.
