PCF SANCTUARY DOGS
Meet our PCF Sanctuary Dogs. These dogs have come into the shelter for a variety of reasons, and are looking for very specific homes. They will remain safe in our care here at Pets Come First until the right match possibly comes along. We have gotten to know and love each one of them, and want to place them into a situation that we are confident they can be successful in. Many of these dogs have been at PCF for quite some time because they are looking for an experienced and responsible home that is willing to put in the time and effort to learn how amazing these dogs are.
All of the dogs are handled by our Shelter Team Members daily and are walked by our Walking Team Members throughout the week. If you follow us on Facebook, then you have likely seen them all on our Luv’N a Pittie! Facebook group. They have learned the daily routine here at the shelter and have built a trust with the walkers and our team. They are all lovable with such different personalities, but each one is looking for someone willing to commit the time and effort to get to know them, understand their specific needs, and provide the appropriate home.

- Elvis is 10 years old and has been with PCF since 2016. He loves to go on walks or just lounge in the sun out in the play yard. He also knows his basic commands. Elvis likes to meet people a few times before he fully builds up trust with them, but once he does, then he is a complete love bug. His perfect home would be as a single pet without children, but with a soft couch to lay on.

- Litia is a smaller, compact, and athletic 5 year old that has been with PCF since 2017. She enjoys spending time with the walkers, especially when belly rubs are involved. Litia has enjoyed learning agility activities like jumps, and she knows her basic commands. Litia needs a home as a single pet without children where she can be your one and only.

- Scout is a 5 year old hugger who knows all of his basic commands, and has been at PCF since 2018. He has been very friendly with many different dogs at the shelter. Scout is nervous around new people and can take time to get to know them. He is looking for a home without children, but with plenty of love to give!

- Chocolate is a 3 year old Lab mix that has endless energy! He loves to race around the yard, swim in the watering hole, and always wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on. Chocolate is reactive with other dogs and animals, so is looking for a home without other animals. He also can be very protective of his toys and would be looking for a very experienced home dedicated to consistent training.
